Situated in a strategic position between Molise and Puglia, Sant'Elia a Pianisi is an active agricultural centre, specialised in the production of oil and cereals. The village has an orderly and quiet urban layout, with several religious and rural testimonies. The community is very attached to the land, and farming traditions continue to mark the seasons. The surrounding flat landscape invites for walks and cycling itineraries along the Fortore valley.
