Piazza Largo Vittorio is the main meeting point in Gildone, a small hill town in the province of Campobasso. The square houses the war memorial and is animated by the presence of bars and businesses. The town's main fairs and festivals are held here, such as the Feast of San Sabino (1 August), 'A Madonn Annascus' (21 November) and San Francesco Saverio (3 December). It is the heart of Gildone's social life, often the scene of events and shows organised by the local Pro Loco.

The Church of San Rocco in Gildone, located in Via Municipio, is a 16th-century rectangular building with a double nave and cross vaults, characterised by a plastered and frescoed façade. The front has two levels with twin portals and, in the upper part, a small bell gable. The façade itself is decorated with frescoes, an element that distinguishes it and makes it a landmark for the community.
