Church of Santa Maria a Quadrano

The chapel of Santa Maria a Quadrano, located in the former feud of Quadrano about 4 km from the centre of Gildone, is a religious building of ancient origins, founded by the Benedictines in the 11th century and renovated in 1721-1722 thanks to the devotion of local citizens. Also known as Santa Maria dell'Assunta, the small church is immersed in the Molise countryside and represents an important place of worship and tradition for the Gildone community.
